Myth Lords Application Process

Horses, Snakes, and Golems!
11/15 - 2005 . by Oldsalt

With our wish lists in hand, we entered Tacvi with sugarplum dreams.. ready to pluck the ripe fruits of our labor.
Laughing and joking, we gathered and buffed ourselves whilst gleefully anticipating the rejoicing of loots.
Enough loots to enable us to challenge and defeat our arch-nemesis the Fabled Rikkinduin, Hoser Dragon of Doom.

The good news is we looted

A LOT

The other good news is that it was

OUR OWN CORPSES!

OH, THE SPLENDOR!!!!

So far we having been having a blast! So far we have been moving slowly but surely. Good thing we are a casual raiding guild who enjoys the thrill of the fight, or we would have been mad about getting a first kill in but not being able to get back to loot it!!!

And another Zun bites the dust!

Taking a trip down memory lane tonight, recalling how much fun we have had. Just some random memories with no real order!!

From a group of about 15 people who enjoyed playing together and facing some new challenges.Meeting Agoba, Quin, and other new people. From challenging exp groups to 12-18 person encounters. Deciding to raid 2 nights a week. Baat whipping us into a raiding force. Narriel spamming me with TL boxes during raids, but I usually miss them because I am busy watching TV.
Solange turning into Azazeal. Volunteer to help on her epic and fall asleep all 3 times. Then trying to help CR her from a dungeon green to me and her ending up CRing me instead
Vindi, Statue, AoW, KT, First brood dragons.
Sleepers Tomb.
Yelniak
Killing lots of dwarves
Killing lots of Giants
Killing lots of Dragons
Through Cazic Thule and killing the gnome instead of escorting him.
Plane of Fear/Hate raids. Quinin continuing to pull when we were AE clearing and the zone repopped on us.
Aheva Ruins.. IV, Shei, the big rock guy. The 12 times I took us on Insanity Crawler goose chases.
Getting MR up to fight Grieg, being snared for like 45 minutes, wiping on the portal in
Sontalak, the whole raid getting tossed in the air when we got agro on the way there
West Tov, then NtoV. Not thinking we had a chance against Aary with 21 but doing it.
The Deep. People falling off the bridge. A lot. Burrower Ring. Uddu. THO me calling out AE by accident, all casters get hit. I get highest dps=p
Ssra camping keys and upgrades, the hunt for RGC. The first Emperor kill on our first shot it. Staging all afternoon trying to get people on so we could have a shot at it
Deciding on taking the VT route. Camping keys. Thinking we only had 7 more trash mobs to clear on a latenight insert, and it being more like 27. Jarnak yelling for mage corpses. Keane listening to me and clicking portal to zone at mini Aten. Phadeon tossing an arrow through the door at AHR right as we ported up.
PoP progression, Bot Towers. More BoT towers. We form a strong relationship with TB and some of their members begin raiding with us. The bond between guilds seems to work well, based mostly on goodwill but firmed with some specifics
We progress through PoP at a decent pace, favoring the encounters that reguire fewer players but better gear and execution.
Erf rings. Talking a group into exping in Air=( 2nd mob split into the named guy and shadowstepped us back to the zone in and corpse camped. Watching Stone folks zone in singly and get owned by our mob there.
The fights of attrition demoralize us, AD, RZTW.
We do better than expected and think we have a shot at time. Gear elementals very very heavily. Xegony sucked. Coirnav sucked much worse.

In other news.....

We currently have a goal to see how few people we can have alive in the zone when a boss mob dies=) This one was pretty close to a new record=P

Will update more soon(TM)

Welcome to Tacvi, folks!!!

We would also like to thank Noble Companions for letting one of our raiders loot one of your rots. Now all he wants to do is axe somebody=P

Reckon it's that time again=P

So! We decided that instead of getting owned by Rikkunduin the Hoser Dragon of Doom, we would take a good gander at Txevu and see what kind of horrors it had in store for us. We had not really heard anything on the positive side about the zone, and were a little apprehensive at first.

But, as past experiences show, when the going gets tough, the tough get going!

Besides, it couldn't be worse than spending 2 hours in the same room in VT, AE'ing mobs that decided to gate, bring friends, and then summon people past a one way door. Could it?!

So far so good! We managed to not only find, but also kill...

THE RUNT!!

Phew! He may be a Runt, but he is certainly no pushover.

GO GO GOOD TEAM!

We were riding pretty high off that win, so we decided to take the rest of the night easy and clear back to the zone in for some more of those 15 hp/mana/end 1% stun resist augs.

/sigh

People were just not paying attention though, after our victory. We also had the TB mafia busy handing out dye and pressuring people to color themselves orange and black for halloween "or else" they "might have to log permanently" if you "get my drift"

So... we ended up getting split up and lost and wandering around in some tunnels until we ran into a High Priest or something

/wink

Was a very good night for us=) Keep up the good work, folks!
