When we started raiding, we used to head to Cazic Thule every once in a while and try to escort the gnome there to safety. Without fail, that gnome would get mobbed by lizardmen and spiders and get killed shortly after we left the pyramid room. Finally, the gnome just flat out refused our aid and became resigned to his fate.
Jelvan was pretty much the same deal. We knew he was being tormented, but we just couldn't seem to quite succeed in setting him free. It got to be where he would scowl at us when we entered his room and make sarcastic comments about how good ML and TB would look in pink. He even went so far as to suggest we could make flower patterns with our corpses after a raid wipe!
However, what he failed to understand was how stubborn we can be when we set our minds to something. .....
Once again, we passed the challenge and stood victorious! Great work, folks!!
5/25- 6/12 = First kills on Kess, Yar Lir, Tunat, and Jelvan. Phew!

I am proud to announce that we have finally finished off Gates of Discord with our first Tunat kill=)
The key to winning this encounter is to stage the raid right by a door with a mob behind it. That way, when the mob aggro's and rushes the raid, you can tell right away who is paying attention! It works best if you can get a AE rampager, but any mob will do in a crunch=p
